Commuting & Transit

For city commuters, Berwyn is highly practical. The Berwyn SEPTA Station sits right on the Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail line, giving you a direct, comfortable ride straight into Center City Philadelphia.

If you need Amtrak access for wider regional travel to New York or D.C., the Paoli station is just one stop over. Also easy access to the Paoli SEPTA rail station with express rail services to Philadelphia, Newark, and New York City.

Is Berwyn Right for You?

Berwyn is often called the "sweet spot" of the Main Line. It gives you the elite schooling and investment security of the region, but with larger yards, a less frantic pace, and slightly more value for your dollar compared to the ultra-dense downtown pockets further east. If you want a neighborhood where your kids can play in a sprawling backyard but you can still walk down to the train station, Berwyn should be at the top of your list.
